Walt Disney World's first waterpark, River Country, debuted in 1976. Due to a myriad of reasons (some of which are unclear to this day) the park closed in 2001. With guests not visiting on a regular basis, Disney World fans have long wondered what has become of the beloved park. A recent post on www.disboards.com has addressed this unsolved mystery and has shed light on the state of this once popular attraction.
