Special Dietary Needs and Food Allergies

All of the Disney Table Service Restaurants which accept reservations can accommodate dietary needs when advised 72 hours (3 Days), in advance. You can call (407) WDW-DINE and request that your allergies be noted on your reservation.

If you need additional information, you can use the following contact information on Monday - Friday between 9 a.m. - 4 p.m. (Weekend or after hour messages will be returned on the following business day.):

Dining with Food Allergies at Disney

Does having an allergy mean that you're doomed to preparing your own food when you travel? Not if you're heading to Disney World. The dining staff is constantly developing recipes for their guests who cannot consume specific foods.

At a rate of 7000+ meals a month, Disney accommodates dieters who have to avoid a gamut of foods as well as those who are on low-sodium and Kosher diets.

Think your little one has to forego those irresistible Mickey Waffles because he's allergic to wheat? The Disney chefs have prepared a special batter so that almost anyone can enjoy them.

Any of the Disney restaurants that accept reservations (including the buffets) can prepare a menu to address your needs. It's asked that you give them at least 72 hours notice when planning your dining.

When making your reservations, let the Cast Member know which foods need to be avoided and the dining staff will be alerted. When you arrive at the restaurant, remind them of your needs and they'll take it from there. Just call (407) WDW-DINE and you're good to go. The best part is that there are no additional fees for this service.

At the Quick Service venues, you'll need to use the same cautions you would at home. Fortunately, Disney now has many choices not found at your average fast food spot. Veggies and dip, grilled chicken, salads, fruit are among the options that can be selected when you need to avoid wheat, eggs, nuts, etc.

With a little advance planning you can fully enjoy all of the terrific restaurants that Disney is known for.

Allergy-Friendly Menus

Walt Disney World offers allergy-friendly menus at all of their restaurants. Guests with dietary restrictions will be able to order straight from the menu without speaking to a chef. The option of speaking to a chef is still available as well.

Plant Based Meals at Disney

The Walt Disney World Resort has fresh, plant-based menu items available all of their major Quick Service and Table Service restaurants throughout the theme parks and Resort hotels. In addition, a new menu icon has been added to menus so that guests will easily be able to tell which items are plant-based. Guests now have over 400 sweet and savory items to choose from including many brand new dishes.

Kosher Meals at Disney

Kosher meals can be accommodated at all table-service and select quick-service restaurants. Kosher meals should be requested 24 hours in advance by calling (407) WDW-DINE. Guests under 18 years of age must have parent or guardian permission to call.

For questions related to Kosher meals or other special dietary needs and requests, contact Disney at [email protected]. Their Special Diets team is happy to assist you with any questions you have.
