Festival of the Holidays Overview

The former Holidays Around the World was reimagined into the Epcot International Festival of the Holidays back in 2016.

Guests can enjoy live musical productions, seasonal food & beverage specialties, and even take a festive global tour as costumed performers bring time-honored traditions to life throughout World Showcase!

There are 13 Holiday Kitchens featured in 2019 serving up a wide variety of holiday bites and sweet seasonal treats. Guests can head over to the Canada pavilion for Maple Bûche de Noël and a famous Black & White Cookie at the L'Chaim Holiday Kitchen.

Holiday Storytellers

Celebrating the holiday season at Epcot is so special. Guests can learn about the holiday traditions of all the different countries that are represented in the World Showcase pavilions. Each country has its own special theme that highlights its culture. Storytellers will delight you with tales of their heritage and how the holidays are celebrated in their homeland. It's a unique opportunity to learn more about the world in which we live.

Guests are encouraged to look for Epcot SCROLLS in each entertainment location that tell the story of each country’s holiday tradition. Find all 13 of them to collect fun new ideas for celebrating your own holidays and tips for finding unique holiday photo spots in the park.

Candlelight Processional

Candlelight Processional

Held every year at Epcot, the Candlelight Processional is a not-to-be-missed event. A mass choir, joined by a 50-piece live orchestra and a celebrity narrator, tell the story of Christmas in words and music, in a very moving performance. An American Sign Language interpreter will also be on stage to translate the narrated story, allowing hearing-impaired guests to enjoy the event. Performances are held at the America Gardens Theatre.

The Candlelight Processional is typically presented three times each evening.

Candlelight Processional Dining Package
The Candlelight Processional Dining Package allows you to enjoy a meal at one of Epcot's restaurants, or a surrounding restaurant, while guaranteeing you a seat for that evening's show. It's important to note that at times, this is THE only way to get a seat. Those with Dinner Packages are the first to be seated - those waiting in line (a.k.a. those who didn't buy the package) will be given the very few seats that remain. If you're at Walt Disney World during the holidays, we consider this is a not-to-be-missed event.
